Season Rules and Regulations
The overall purpose and focus of the CSPL
is to provide a Christian based, fellowship oriented, opportunity to enjoy excercise in the wilderness playing paintball on a social / recreational level.
The rules presented herein
are supplemental to the golden rules of the Bible with respect to the expected conduct of a team and each individual player.
Team Rules
Max. 10 Players on the field per team
No maximum number of spares
Players may be male or female 10 yrs and older
The Game
Teams will play 8 15 minute games per match
Highest total points wins each game & match
Gun and Mask are loaned FREE with Membership, if required
Paint is Extra
The 2010 Season
Runs from April 24 October 23
Saturdays at 4:00pm

Unbreakable Rules
Breaking either of these 2 rules ends your day
1. Mask MUST be on at all times Except in safe zones
2. (Barrie Paintball Rule) NO Smoking in bush Except in safe zones
1. NO player shall play unless they have a valid properly signed and dated waiver.
2. It is every team members responsibility to read and understand the rules or seek clarification from CSPL
3. This league is for great fun and family time, courtesy and sportsmanship is required and appreciated. No fighting. No arguing. We all must agree to play for fun!
4. Anyone found to be cheating will be asked to leave for that day. A second offence could result in league expulsion. We are to be honest and respectful. We have reason to be happy even when we are losing simply because it is our opponents time to shine. Their time to celebrate. A true athlete will be of great cheer and will buckle down. When the going gets tough the tough get going!
5. NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed anywhere on the premises.
6. Referees call is final.
7. Dispute of Referees call is to be addressed by the Captain ONLY.

9. This is a bush Beware the natural dangers, wildlife and vegetation that exist.
10. No bunkering, fighting, profane language or dangerous acts. Children play this sport as well. Intimidation is not allowed.
11. 500 point penalty Directed Profane language - 500 point penalty - Challenging another opponent to a Physical fight
12. BANNED FOR LIFE - Willfully engaging in a physical fight
13. BANNED FOR LIFE Threatening Referee, Staff or League Official
14. Mercy rule is in effect (approx. 25).
15. Players may NOT play on more than one team.
16. FIELD PAINT ONLY. 500 Point Penalty for offending team.
17. A Minimum of 3 hopper checks will be done at random intervals for foreign paint.
18. Field speed checks will be done randomly. Field speed must be 300fps or less. Penalty 50 points & player must play that game without gun.
19. The Player(s) found with foreign paint will be removed from All games for the remainder of the day.
20. Offending player(s) Will Not be replaced. Offending team plays short.
21. DO NOT REUSE PAINT BALLS FOUND ON GROUND. Sand or dirt will jam guns and cause damage.
22. You will be expected to pay for damaged equipment and/or personal property due to negligence or willful misconduct.
23. No diving into bunkers. You may harm yourself or someone else.
24. All rules posted at the office must be followed including but not limited to Bush hazards, safety, parking & environmental conservation.
25. Each team must have a minimum of 3 players in attendance for the games to begin. Less than 3 players is a disqualification or forfeit. Penalty: 500-point deduction.
26. Any Player wishing to play in the final tournament MUST play at least 1 regular season game on that team to qualify. No Exceptions. Grievance must be filed by opposing team.
27. Captain ONLY may protest 500 pt penalty
30. Forfeit during match 500 pt penalty
32. Over shooting or Bonus balling 300 pt penalty
33. Over shooting or Bonus balling shall be considered when the player being eliminated is repeatedly (min of 4 extra hits) shot while hand(s) and/or gun in the air. Just yelling hit is not enough.
34. Over shooting or Bonus balling shall be considered when a player exiting the field with hands raised is deliberately shot. Walking in the line of fire excluded.
35. Courtesy to a player yelling hit within a building will be extended as long as the player exits immediately with arms/gun raised.
36. If a player drops their arms as they are coming off the field and are shot again. The team of the player that drops their arms before exiting the field will have the closest player on their team pulled. No penalty for the shooting team.
37. If 2 or more players try to Mercy each other in a face to face confrontation. All players are considered eliminated.
38. Team with 3 forfeits ejected from league
40. Clean all hits off your team mates between games.
41. Anyone entering the field with a hit will be removed without replacement.
42. Do not clean hits with your hand. Use towel.
43. Paint in the palm of your hand will be considered wiping by the ref if checked. Keep your gloves clean of paint.
44. Wiping hits during game will result in 500 pt penalty.
45. Capturing the IED(Improvised Explosive Device) is only ½ the objective points. You must disarm it to get full objective points. It will be deemed to go off at games end.
46. If IED goes off Accidentally, on purpose or otherwise. All players within 10 paces are dead. Players hold positions.
47. Failure to Hold close proximity positions to avoid elimination will result in elimination. Refer to rule #27.
48. A team that wins by disqualification may count their attendance points only. They may elect to use their time as practice time. A referee will be provided. Regular fees apply.
49. Forfeit Cash Penalty 1/3 of any and all prize money due in the finals is lost for every forfeit a team acquires. Prizes may still be awarded.
50. Pulling off the mask on the field without proper game stoppage and clearance will result in a team penalty of 500 points.
51. Any team that is forfeits 3 times during the regular season is pulled from the league for the remainder of the season. The team will not be eligible for any prize money or awards. The team guarantee is forfeited.
52. Any Team that fails to show at the end of year final Tournament will be considered Out of the League. The team will not be eligible for any prize money or awards.
53. Points champions are entitled to 50% of 1st Prize money. If the points champs also win the overall tournament Championship, they will be awarded 100% of the Prize money. Every team has a chance at the overall 1st prize money (or share of) at the CSPL final tournament.
54. Prize money will be awarded according to the number of teams that finish the league & tournament in good standing. Cash prizes awarded as follows.
31 50 Teams 1st $ 10,000., 2nd $ 2,000., 3rd $ 1,000.
11 30 Teams 1st $ 5,000., 2nd $ 1,000., 3rd $ 500.
6 10 Teams 1st $ 2,000., 2nd $ 500., 3rd $ 300.
3 5 Teams 1st $ 1,000., 2nd $ 300., 3rd $ 200.
Scoring - Point System
Points awarded as follows
Attendance Points
10 Points for each player that shows up to play that day
must be present with a valid entry stamp before first game or 3:30 pm game day. No Stamp No Points
Objective Points
50 Points for completing the objective of each game
must be completed within the 15 minute time limit
Elimination Points
5 points for each player eliminated or 50 points for the entire team no matter the number of players.
If a team is forfeited against they are awarded the maximum points for the day.
Maximum points per round is 100. Maximum points for the day is 900.
Disqualification & Penalty Points
50 point penalty - Random Check - Excessive Field speed over 300fps
500 point penalty - for disqualification or forfeit
500 point penalty Profane/Abusive language directed at another player
200 point penalty Player is found to have a ball break after the game is over and was not considered out
500 point penalty No barrel plug/bag on in the safe zone
300 point penalty Eliminated people talking
500 point penalty Off field paint
300 point penalty Bonus Balling
300 point penalty Cheating in any shape way or form (Refs Call).
500 point penalty - Team Penalty for mask removal on field. Eyes DO NOT grow back. Proper game stoppage and clearance from referee if required.
BANNED FOR LIFE - Being engaged in a physical fight
BANNED FOR LIFE Threatening Referee or Staff
Points will be kept by the lead referee & posted in the building and on the website the following week. The Captain may request a copy of the score sheet.
